Welcome to June, 2010. In this month, MRDC-YEN (Young Entrepreneurs Network) will be celebrating 12 months of successfully impacting young entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
To crown this celebration, a conference will be organized for young and aspiring entrepreneurs. This conference will launch participants to new levels of business success. The conference will teach you how to work SMART instead of HARD through the POWER OF EXECUTION . Come to think of it, could this make life or work easier?
You know, I have heard people like Rwanda’s president, Paul Kagame affirm that ‘entrepreneurship is the surest way to development’ and support for this perspective is heading for the clouds. If this is true, why are our entrepreneurs (both practicing and potential) not really ‘progressing’ and why are their activities not really impacting our economy? Could this be related to ‘failure to LAUNCH’ on the part of the potential entrepreneurs or is it due to the Country’s entrepreneurial climate or poor execution? What’s your opinion? Do you think there’s something our young entrepreneurs are missing that if possessed would go a long way to change the face of entrepreneurship in the country or are there some undefiable factors that are suppressing their efforts? What could be wrong?
Let’s get talking. Please share your perspective?
